It is safe to say that the new year greets with winter weather and this has an effect on the operations of Sjótækni and partners. Sjótækni's boats have mostly been tied to the pier due to the weather since before Christmas and little can be done. Hopefully, however, the weather will start to subside so that it will be possible to start carrying out the tasks that are waiting to be solved. However, it is always possible to take comfort in the fact that the sun is rising and the day is getting longer. When the weather started improving around noon today, the accompanying photos were taken of the boat Fálki in Tálknafjarðarhöfn and snow covered houses in the harbour area in Tálknafjörður.
